PROGRAM:  

The Department of Foreign Languages, part of the College of Liberal Arts, offers courses in fulfillment of the foreign language requirement in German at UNO (e.g.,3 semesters for students in the College of Liberal Arts; 2 semesters for students in most of the other colleges). Some courses at the 3000-level are occasionally offered, e.g. German 3031, "German Conversation".

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS

We play an active, continuous role in the UNO-Innsbruck International Summer School in Innsbruck, Austria, where courses in German are routinely offered with participation from our faculty. We also collaborate with UNO's Center Austria, which sponsors "The Academic Year Abroad Program at the University of Innsbruck, Austria," a newly instituted program.
