PROGRAM: The Department of Foreign Languages, part of the College of Liberal Arts, offers courses in fulfillment of the foreign language requirement in Italian at UNO (e.g.,3 semesters for students in the College of Liberal Arts; 2 semesters for students in most of the other colleges). Some courses beyond Italian 2002 are occasionally offered, e.g. Italian 3031, "Italian Conversation," and the "Independent Study" 3191-2-3 offered on-line. The PLACEMENT TEST
