PROGRAM:

The Department of Foreign Languages, part of the College of Liberal Arts, offers a four-year major, leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. Requirements: a minimum of 32 credit hours in Spanish courses, beyond Spanish 2002 or Spanish 2004 (For additional details, see the General Catalogue, under Curriculum in Spanish.)

A minor is also available. Requirements: 18 credit hours of Spanish with a 2.0 grade point average, starting with Spanish 2002 or 2004 and above. (See the General Catalogue)

An internship in Spanish is being offered, in collaboration with with several institutions, such as the World War II Museum in New Orleans, on a regular basis to our best majors.

Our Master of Arts in Romance Languages includes a Spanish option. (see Graduate Program).
